| Bio: | Hello all! I am the Features Editor of The Hour Newspaper, which means I edit stories, lay out sections and keep a bunch of reporters in line. I also write a weekly column for the books section, called From the Stacks. I do side work as a freelance book editor and fiction writer. I am also co-founder of Tears of the Phoenix, a literary charitable organization. Some might say I am a little obsessed with books. Yes, I do have 12 bookcases in my apartment, but they aren't completely full - yet. While I’ll read nearly any kind of fiction, young adult fiction and fantasy (I’m a sucker for vampire and werewolf stories) seem to be dominating my To-Be-Read pile of late. Growing up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State, I eventually moved to England where I studied international communications at Manchester University, then, somehow, I ended up in North Carolina for a year before settling in New York, where I've been for the last decade or so. I recently started graduate school to get a master's degree in publishing, so my life pretty much has been reduced to work, school and the charity. So that’s my life — welcome to it! | |||||||||
